Five-star Italy dominates the Semi Contact

BEIJING, 4^th September – All matches of Kickboxing including Full contact, Semi contact and Lowkick came to a conclusion in today.

In the Semi contact sessions, Men’s 63kg affirmatively outshines the others. Two boxers-Richard Veres(HUN) and Bartosz Baczynski(POL) competed severely until the OT. In the third round, two boxers end in a 8-8 tie and had to make the match prolonged to the overtime. The Hungarian athlete took upper wind and wined one score, thus adding a bronze medal to Hungary.

Seconds after the bronze final, the final acts on the OSC. Italian LUCCHESE Andrea narrowly beat the DOYLE Jason(IRL) with the score of 7:6 and wined the first gold medal for Italy. Later on, 4 Italian athletes crowed themselves respectively in the Semi Contact Men’s 69,74kg and Women’s 55,69kg. National flag of Italy topped OSC five times.

While in the Men’s 79 kg match, Mc MENAMEY Robert(IRL) and MORAD ZSOLT(HUN) made the game fierce enough for spectators to praise. Their scores bit with each other. Until in the OT, the blue from Hungary took the opportunity and launched several attacks with the result winning 3 points thus making Ireland get the only gold medal.
