BEIJING, 3rd September – Russian traditional combat Sambo unfolded in front of our eyes. By comparing to wrestling, Sambo athletes are more agile and rapid, with proficient skills. In this morning, the spectators were lucky to see the Sambo women’s 56kg and men’s 68kg elimination and repechage.
Sambo Ambassador Fedor emilianenko also came to enjoy the games. Fedor was known as the strongest fighter all the world. Many Fedor’s fans throughout China came here to see their idol. Before the competition, two Russian blonds left a deep impression to the spectators by treading with light and nimble ease.
In the Elimination of Combat SAMBO(men)-74kg, Singapore player Mohamad Sulaiman played with Lithuania player, Singapore player kick the Lithuania for many times, but the Lithuania player moved as agile as a monkey and threw the Singapore athlete onto the ground several times. At last, Mohamad won the game by 3-1.
At the men’s 68kg, Korean athlete KIM Kwangsub attracted many enthusiastic fans. His every action brought warm cheers from the fans. At last, KIM was successful to enter the bronze medal fight.
Sambo semifinals will be played at 4 p.m. More highlights will be demonstrated at the front of our eyes.
