Chinese boxers win 5 out of 10 gold medals

BEIJING, 2^nd September – Chinese boxers win 5 out of 10 gold medals in the game of Sportaccord Combat Games at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.

The whistle brought the game of Men’s 46-49 Final to the end. Chinese boxer ZOU Shiming won the first gold medal. In the first round, ZOU Shiming took the lead over his competitor YUSUFI Safoviddin with the score of 1-0. At the beginning of the 2^nd round, YUSUFI Safoviddin scored one point, but soon ZOU Shiming retook the lead and changed the score to 3-1. At the last round, ZOU Shiming fasten the game and offered no chance to his opponent to fight back. After scoring 4 points continuously, ZOU Shiming beat him at last. Obviously, it is a beginning for the Chinese athletes to win the gold medals.

Because of the injury, athlete CORDINA Joseph, from Welsh, gave up the game and Chinese athlete ZHANG Jiawei won the gold medal of boxing Men’s 56 KG.

In the game of boxing Men’s 64 KG Final, the blue corner, Chinese athlete HU Richabilige paid more attention to the game, the same goes for his opponent, SAKENOV Ermek (KGZ). They didn’t offense in a hurry at the beginning of the game. The blue corner took the chance to score one point soon. But the red corner used his fierce fists and made the score as 2-2. After scoring one point again, the blue corner took the lead to the next two rounds. However, the red corner controlled the game. Although HU Richabilige scored one point at the end of the game, SAKENOV Ermek won the game and HU Richabilige won a silver medal at last.

Chinese athlete Maimaitituersunqiong lost the game to his opponent BELOUS Vasilii (MDA) with the score of 3-6. At the beginning, Maimaitituersunqiong was very confident and offended positively, leaving the chance to his counterpart to strike back. At the end of round 1, the score was 2-0, BELOUS Vasilii took the lead. In the second and last round, Maimaitituersunqiong was desperate to score the point, but didn't have the effective offense. Finally, he lost the game and won a silver medal. Although he loses, his continuous fight and strong will leave a deep impression on the spectators.
