Wrestling Competition Got off to a Good Start for China

BEIJING, 1st September – Women’s 48KG, 55KG, 63KG, 72KG Preliminary rounds were held in the morning. Four Chinese girls Sun Yanan, Liu Gui, Yang Panpan and Qin Xiaoqing carried the full of confidence to win the matches.

The World Youth Tournament champion Sun Yanan became the first Chinese athlete stepped onto the stage. With the thundering cheers of her teammates and coaches, Sun controlled the rhythm of the game at the beginning. She scored several times by sharp offenses and consummate skills. The first game was 4-2 in favor of Sun. In the second game, her coach provided her effective tips to have helped her defeat the opponent by pin.

In the following competition, Chinese player Sun Yanan beat all her rivals and kept all victory in the Preliminary Rounds, which ensured him to go straightly into the final.

Another Chinese athlete Liu Gui encountered with Japanese tough opponent who apparently had more experience than Liu. As a result, liu lost the match by 2-5. After that, Liu began to tick. She won over an Azerbaijan and French athletes in a row. Among the competition with the latter opponent, Liu comfortably won by pin, which ensured her qualifying for the final.

In addition, in the Women’s 63kg and 72kg competition, Chinese athletes both of Yang Panpan and the world wrestling champion Qin Xiaoqing promoted with their perfect performance. The women wrestling final will be held at 7 p.m.
