BEIJING, 31 August-The Karate competitions of the SPOTRACCORD COMBAT GAMES 2010 BEIJING opened with a shout from LI Hong. In the first round, LI Hong’s marvelous execution helped her got an easy victory. CHEN Yen Hui from Chinese Taipei also distinguished herself this morning. It was her style which combines the attack and defense, dynamic and quiet that makes it possible for her to observe calmly and attack efficiently when the opportunities came. The two masters met in the thrilling semi-finals. Losing to CHEN Yen Hui, LI Hong was not lucky enough to compete for the gold medal. Russian athlete PONOMAREVA Elena will compete with LI Hong for the bronze. CHEN Yen Hui will have a fierce battle with Turkish athlete CELIK Gulderen.
